not like @dlb, I personaly love the new Wordpress 2.5 admin panel UI. I'm gonna try this plugin too, seems to be pretty sleak!

I started out using Ozh's plugin and came across the same problem. I then swapped to Yellow Swordfish's plugin and have been using it since. Was wondering what exactly you didn't like about it?

The WordPress Admin Bar plugin

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-admin-bar/

Uncomment two lines in the plugin and it will replace your admin menu with flawless drop-down menus. I think it's exactly what you're looking for.

If you come up with any improvements, do let me know! I'd love for my plugin to work better -- it's kind of my first attempt at my own jQuery plugin, so a lot of this stuff is new to me!

And yes, Ozh's work inspired mine, but I wanted something that didn't use custom Javascript and that also fixed the CSS issues you mentioned.

I had tried the Admin Drop Down Menus which was nice, but I just couldn't stand the visual appearance, hence Admin Supermenu.
