Permalink Structure Updated

The permalink structure of this blog has been updated. I used to include "category" in my permalinks but since tags have been greatly promoted in WordPress 2.3, I believe that categories are going to be disfavored by both users and the development team in the future. Thus I abolished it (so far not completely though). Meanwhile I've activated the plugin Permalink Redirect. This plugin will be serving my blog till Google gets all my permalinks updated.

WordPress 2.3 RC1 is out, the final version will not be far away. I have to catch up, hopefully by the time 2.3 arrives, I can finish my new theme and give this site a slight yet graceful reboot.

    lemoned. Great theme, well done. Wanted to ask if your contact (comment) form is the wp-contact form or something else. Like the simplicity.

    Hi there! I still haven't upgraded to WP 2.3 but I'd like to know what version of Permalink Redirect you're using? I'm also using that plugin and I want to make sure that the version I'm gonna use is compatible with 2.3. Thanks! :)

    Did you tag this article with the new 2.3 tagging feature?

    I can see that tags are going to be more popular but I'm not sure about changing the categories. If your blog is very focused with only a few categories I could see the SEO benefits of keeping categories (keywords) in your permalink structure.
